| LOGOUT | GOLF COURSE | PLAYER | SINGLE | TOURNAMENT | SERIES | ECLECTIC |
Short Description of EGO - Easy Golf OrganizerThis application is made for you to enter and maintain your set of players and tournaments to be able to evaluate a single scorecard, a tournament of several players, a series of several tournaments or an eclectic (best results of several rounds played on the same golf course). Only you can see and maintain your players and tournaments, golfcourses are for general use.You may create and maintain Golf Courses and scorecards - the creator is the owner, but all data are available for every user. Changes to these data can be made by the owner only. To show you some exemples you can use the demo account: email=amb@ptex.info, password=demo How does the Application work?Very simple and hopefully self explaining...You start by defining your personal data: first the players with their personal data, then the Golf Course you want to play, then the scorecard you want to use and after that you can evaluate single scorecards or you can enter tournaments. After defining the participants of a tounament, you can correct their handicaps before you define the groups for your evaluation. The definition of the groups can be manipulated so that each group seems to be well distributed. If you have several tournaments, you may evaluate a series or you may evaluate as eclectics. EvaluationsIn addition to the general evaluation (best gross and best net player in strokes or Stableford) the program calculates the following results:
If results are equal we calculate in addition the result of the last 9 holes, the last 4 holes, the last 2 holes. For the last 9 holes we take the hole with hcp 1, with hcp 18, with hcp 2, with hcp 17 and so on. Results are taken in Strokes or in Stableford according to definition of the play. For an eclectic you can evaluate the yearly statistic as well. That means, for each player the average result of each hole of all tournaments is calculated.
